MTV:

I can almost guarantee you that after about 10 years they will stop selling music and sell strictly the same regurgitated reality shows.

Then they will create another version of the store call it the same thing add the number 2 to the end and that will be the store that sells music.

For every 3 minutes of music you get you will also receive 7 minutes of commercials.

Microsoft:

They will take the same interface as iTunes and make it ugly and say they are revolutionizing the end user experience.

It will do everything...except what it is supposed to do.

It will be released with 900 known security issues and only half of them will ever be corrected.

Endorsements:

Ozzy Osbourne he's close with MTV as it is and his wife will sign anything for him if she knows there's money in it for her.

Your assumption of us not being able to have a conversation is not true. I was actually more impressed by your controlled response and you were able to do it without name calling.

Okay, this is veering way off the topic of music, but whatever. I'm not sure we can even have a serious conversation about the topic because we've got such different assumptions coming into it. Based on your comments, I'm seeing several assumptions that are 180° from mine:

You: Christians think Christian music will protect them from the world
Me: Christian music isn't protection, but enjoyable encouragement. Christ himself said that Christians won't be "safe" from the world.

You: A "prayer or congregation" is responsible for saving someone
Me: A prayer or congregation can't EVER save anyone. Religion isn't what saves people; a relationship with Christ is what saves people

You: Prayers are intended to solve problems (but they don't work)
Me: Prayer is conversation. Anything that "results" from prayer is the product of one or both conversationalists taking direct action

I'm really not trying to be antagonistic; I'm just trying to point out that my pre-conversation assumptions and yours make it unlikely that either of us will be satisified at the end of a conversation on these topics.

Listening to Christian Music won't protect you from the world. If Christians can be corrupted by music, no prayer or congregation (no matter the size)can save them. Becuase remaining a follower makes you blind. If you are blind then you cannot see reality. That is what makes a victim of reality.

You can't solve a problem with a prayer, prayers beg for problems to solve themselves. People need to take action now, direct physical action, to make reality brighter. Listening to Christian Rock is like closing your eyes and hoping no one sees you.
