Is Bono the real deal? I seriously hope so, if he turns out to be a swendling dirt bag, ever, a piece of me will die, and humanity will suffer. I have always been able to respect the causes Bono represents, because it does not seem to be exploitation. After rocking the Qwest Center, Bono stayed an extra day in Omaha, NE to meet with the board of D.A.T.A. Debt, Aids, Trade, Africa has board members here in Omaha, like the daughter of the 2nd richest in the world, Buffet. Actually, we had the worlds wealth all in the same room, at the Joslyn Art Museum, where else- Omaha, NE. Despite tight security, Hess said, Bill and Melinda Gates walked through the front lobby. As Time reports this week, reporter Josh Tyrangiel sat with Bono, Bill and Melinda in Omaha for a Q-and-A. The trio were saluted not for their contributions to music or computers, but for their philanthropy, especially in the causes of poverty and global health.
Bill may be the CEO of the most hated OS, but no one can hate his charity work! I think this should be displayed more, because the public majority is unaware of his contributions.
