Beck Offers Unreleased Music Online
[ via Pitchforkmedia.com ]
James Gregory reports:
Dancefloor Scientologist Beck is ending 2005 with a bang, ensuring his dominance of the usually quiet December music news headlines. Of most interest to fans is the revamping of his website, the highlight of which is an exclusive musical housewarming gift. A stop by the “Discobox” section of Beck.com yields a quartet of unreleased tracks: “Untitled Song 2″, “Sorrow”, “Premonition”, and “Day for Night”.The online fun doesn’t stop there, as the site is also showing Beck’s latest video, “Hell Yes”, which features extremely cool, extremely creepy robots.
Your inner Geek will thank you if you visit the Beck site. I checked out the songs, I wished he would have released them, very original and eclectic sound, everything you would expect from Beck. That is why I have been a fan. Not a psycho fan because I didn’t not know he had Cd releases as far back as 1993.
